3:22 AM - Are You One of Apple Users Who Can Not Download Apps with iOS 3?

What would you feel if your iPhone or iPod touch can't download apps any more? Angry? Well, this problem may be the hottest topic right now. More and more iPhone and iPod users have complained that they can't download any app right now, what's going on?

"Whenever I go into a specific app in the app store, none of the buttons work properly," Apple user mwiesner wrote in the Apple forums. Specifically, he said an app will not download once you click the price, the ratings button is inactive, and photos do not appear, among other things. Actually, we will meet lots of problems when we use iDevices, the battery issues, now the update issues, so it's very important to know more about how to make the most of your iDevices like iPod. For example, how to backup the files in iPod so you won't lose them? When that problem comes to you, you should know that you need an ipod to computer transfer to help you backup. Well, that's not hard to fix, but this time, this update problem really peeves somebody.

Here are the reactions from Apple users, they are serious and I guess Apple should take this problem seriously, too, however, Apple hasn't responded any comment yet.

"I had no problems downloading apps on my iphone through the appstore a few days ago…

I can download apps on my PC and push them to my iphone…

I have plenty of free space and icon positions/pages for more apps on my phone…

It's just the app store on my iphone that NO-Longer works!"

Here is another user who is from France, no doubt, this is an international issue.

"Just to tell you all that I'm using a 3G under 3.1.3, can't update it because of my company rules, and App Store is a broken link for me too (same issues as described before). I'm in France," wrote one user.

Ok, there is a solution though, if you can't download apps with your iDevices which are running iOS 3, why not update it? Then everything will be fixed. Oh, really? Maybe we should hear what this guy said.

"I know...upgrade to OS 4.x....I would but everything I read says that the iPod is basically useless after the upgrade as everything is too slow," wrote another. And update is risky, if you do that, you will lose everything you already have, songs, movies, files in your iPod, everything, of course, if you know how to transfer music from ipod to computer, then you won't lose nothing, but generally, we all don't want to update it, unless we have to, especially the problem is caused by our own mistakes, however, this time, we have nothing to do with it, it's all because of Apple. This is definitely an issue on Apple's side which Apple must resolve.

Are you one of them whose iDevice have been stuck with its older OS, can't run iOS 4 or iOS 5, can't update it, can't download any app, and Apple hasn't give you a resolution, do you feel you can't do anything about it? Let me know.

2:38 AM - Top 5 iPod Apps You May Have Missed in 2011

It's not easy to choose a few good apps from vast apps library, and now 2011 is almost ended, do you know what top-rank apps you have missed during the year? Well, here is my collection of the best apps for iPod touch, you may want to try some.

1. Tiny Tower. Maybe Tiny Tower is not your cup of tea, but trust me, it's not that easy to play, if you really want to get over it, you need to know more tricks, and find out the knacks yourself. Tiny Tower puts you in charge of a residential or business block of towers; you can build and furnish additional floors to attract "bitizens" (residents) and then manage their daily affairs (much as in SimCity).

2. Djay. Djay is a virtual, touch screen DJ setup with a realistic turntable and mixer interface that lets you mix, spin, cue and scratch your tracks straight from your iPod music library. Users can take full advantage of the djay app's Split Output mode to cue upcoming songs through their headphones, independently of the live mix that is sent through the speakers. This is the perfect solution for DJs on-the-go using headphones to preview and prepare the next song to ensure the audience can groove seamlessly to the playlist. The DJ Cable offers a unique experience for beginners and professionals alike turning any social event into the ultimate dance party.

3. Instagram. It's not as good as the iPhone's shooter, but it's certainly good enough. The Instagram app lets you apply cool filters to make your photos look old, or edgy, or like a Polaroids, and then share them on the Web. It's a great, fast way to get your photos out there and see what other people are shooting.

4. ipod to computer software. Maybe you don't need it often, but when you have this kind of needs, for example, you want to back up your files from iPod to computer, this is what you need. iTunes can help us sync files from computer to iPod, but it can't help us do the opposite thing, so to make the most of your iPod, you definitely need this.

5. Snapseed. Snapseed is a popular photo editing app. First off, it uses gestures, which are well-explained within the app. It contains all the basic editing functions like crop, rotate, and the ability to adjust brightness, saturation, etc. You get a number of filters and frames to enhance your photos. You can always check back to compare your altered photo to your original one. Save your finished creation to your camera roll. Print and/or share directly from Snapseed to email, Facebook, or Flickr if you like.

These are what you've probably missed in the past year, but that's just the tip of the iceberg, there are much more that you may don't know, like how to get music off ipod onto computer, I can tell you, if you know more about these tricks, you can have the biggest fun with your iPod.

2:32 AM - Flurry Announces the Statistic of App Downloaded in Christmas Week Over One Billion

Do you know how many app downloads in Christmas week? 1.2 billion, Can you imagine that? What a zillion! However, that's reasonable, when you get iPod, iPhone or iPad as the Christmas present, what's the first thing you want to do? Download your favorite apps of course, not to mention Apple released so attractive promotions among Christmas.

Flurry claims estimates that 1.2 billion applications were downloaded during what it calls the "holiday power week." It also believes that more than 20 million iOS and Android devices were activated during the holiday period. Seriously, I don't know if you have made your contribution to that statistic, but I did, I can't remember how many apps I have downloaded on my iPod touch, transferring previous apps, videos, songs to my PC with ipod computer transfer to save space for the new apps. Maybe you have done the same thing, maybe you are one of the biggest contributors of App Store's income.

Whether you accept that methodology or not, the premise behind the 1.2 billion downloads seems sensible. iOS devices (and their Android counterparts) probably found their way on to many a holiday gift list this year. While you'd expect to see a burst of downloading on Christmas day immediately after presents are opened, new device owners are unlikely to confine their App Store shopping sprees to a single day. Existing device owners are also busy cashing in their App Store gift cards on new software. And since smartphones pose a gift-giving challenge thanks to contracts with wireless carriers, there's also the prospect of new iPhone owners activating their devices in the days after Christmas for adding further fuel to the downloading fire.

While Apple does not formally release data about the number of devices being turned on for the first time, Google has confirmed that over 3.7 million Android devices were activated on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Since Android has such massive amounts, you certainly can imagine the situation of iOS, which is definitely bigger than that. Think about how many Apple users out there? iPod, iPhone, iPad, almost everyone has one of them, especially iPad, which is the most wanted thing in Christmas gift list, and if you are an iPad user, here is a trick that you must know, which is how to sync ipad 2 to computer, so that you won't lose one thing that you don't want to lose in your iPad.

The United States accounted for 42.3 percent of the total with 509 million downloads, followed by Chine with 99 million, The U.K. with 81 million, and Canada with 41 million. New device activations played a role in the record breaking app download numbers. Flurry's estimates put the total number of iOS and Android devices activated during the Christmas week at 20 million, and the company expects those numbers to continue to climb.

Now the Christmas shopping season is almost going to end, but Apple's promotion just begins, it will releases Red Friday in Asia which begins from Jan.6, and it just gonna make that number becomes much bigger.

2:27 AM - How to Get Apps from iPod to Computer

Have you ever wondered that how to get apps from iPod to computer? What I am saying is from iPod to computer, not from computer or iTunes to iPod. Of course you know how to sync things from iTunes to computer, as long as you are an Apple user, you definitely know how to do it, but not all of Apple users know how to do the opposite thing.

When you get an iPod touch, what's the first thing you will do? Downloading your favorite apps and games of course, like Angry Birds, Infinity Blade and Fruit Ninja. These are the most popular iOS apps right now, and they are paid, so maybe you want to save them in your computer, but the question is how?

iTunes can't help you do that, so if you just download a bunch of apps in your iPod and want to backup them to the laptop, you may feel upset because there is no way to do that directly. You need a third-party tool, there are a bunch of transfers you can find in the Internet, but it's not easy to find a good one. Just a few days ago, my computer broken, so I lost everything in my iTunes, but then I thought maybe I can transfer those apps from my iPod to computer, so that I didn't need to pay for them again, but you know, I just couldn't, and that's why I find out that we only can do that with the help of transfer.

Cucusoft iPod to Computer Transfer is an easy to use iPod utility designed to help you backup the stuffs in your iPod, like transferring music from ipod to computer.Recover lost or missing music, backup and restore all of your iPod content, including your favorite songs, videos, photo files and Play Lists, and that's not all. If you have any iPod device, this software is a must-have utility to keep your iPod safety. Of course, if you prefer the free tools, iDump or Floola, that's ok though, but you need to know that free things always have drawbacks, so if you want the perfect functions, it's the best for you to use Cucusoft. Here we can begin:

Step 1: Install the iPod to Computer Transfer on your computer, then plug your iPod in to the computer via USB cable. Run the software and it will automatically show you all iPod files on the interface.

Step 2: Choose your iPod apps that will be uploaded to computer. Then mark the apps you need to upload to computer from iPod.

Step 3: Click Export button and then choose Export to Disk Only on the following form.

Now you know how to get apps out of iPod touch, and it's the same thing to transfer songs or movies from iPod, you just need to change the options.

With this ipod to pc transfer free, you can transfer whatever you want from iPod to computer. Like I said before, this tool aims to protect your iDevices. If you just buy an iPod, you'd better have this tool.

2:43 AM - Three Best New Games for iPad

With the Retina Display, new iPad is the best portable device to watch HD movies and play games, we can watch our favorite DVD movies on the big screen with mac dvd ripper for ipad, but mostly, I guess we prefer to play games on it when we are waiting for someone or when just feeling boring. So except for Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja, these two most-frequently played games, what are the other latest and most fantastic games we can play on iPad?

1. Virtua Tennis Challenge.

As fans of Tennis, I bet you all have played this game if you have Android devices. Yes, Sega has released this sport title masterpiece for Android a long time ago, now this game comes to iOS for the first time.

Seriously, if you love this sport, then Virtua Tennis Challenge is the best game for you to enjoy the fun to play tennis. In this game, you can imagine yourself to be anyone, Federer, Nadal and Djokovic, whoever you want to be. Slice, lob and hit your best top spin as you take on the world's best and compete against 50 players in 18 stadiums around the globe. Build concentration by making plays that match your player's style; unleashing a super shot that will make your opponent sweat. Sounds very exciting, right?

This game just arrives in App Store, and I just can't wait to play it.

2. Fieldrunners 2.

Fieldrunners was one of the most iOS games before, but since it hasn't any update for almost one year, so maybe some of you have forgotten it. However, the developer just announces that Fieldrunners 2 will launch on App Store in a month, first the iPhone edition, then iPad HD edition.

Even we have to wait for a month, but we can know how this sequel will be from the images that have been published by the developer. It expands on the gameplay of the first one with more, and more varied, maps, over 20 upgradeable towers, and more than 30 enemy types trying to ruin them.

Considering the popularity of Fieldrunners, I bet Fieldrunners 2 will excite many game players.

3. Infinity Blade II Update-Vault of Tears.

About this game, I guess you don't need more information from me. In the conference of new iPad, we already witnessed the wonders of this work.

So what does Chair will offer us in Vault of Tears this time? There are two features about this update I have to mention. First, this update is totally free. Second, it's more socialized, adding a treasure map that marks treasure locations. Also, ClashMob is being expanded to allow anyone to participate in fights via Twitter or Facebook - no game required.

For game players, you mustn't miss these games, of course, except playing games on iPad, we also can watch movie, only there is one tip for movies fans, which is most videos have DRM protection, and we may need media drm removal. No matter what you would like to do on your iPad, just enjoy the excellent feeling that it gives you.

3:08 AM - â??Editorsâ?? Choiceâ?? Recommends Newest Apps and Games for You in App Store

Last week, Apple updated "Free App of the Week" in App Store, even we don't know if the developers of those apps agree to reduce the price voluntarily or Apple has promised to make up for them, no matter what, for us, it is good news though. Moreover, another good news comes recently, which is Apple updates the "Editors' Choice" in App Store.

Apple says they will present the most innovative applications and fun game in the "Editors' Choice" to users. Taking a look at this section constantly to know the newest apps and games, information of updates in App Store, or visit the former "Editors' Choice" to add more excellent applications and games for iDevices. So that Apple can be more flexible when selecting applications. And Apple makes it clear in iTunes that all the recommended applications and games are screened by their editorial team. This function now mainly serve for iPhone and iPad, so if you own one of them, why not try the recommendations, also, if you prefer to watch movies on iPad, you can transfer a tons of movies to it with ipad converter.

"Editors' Choice" will save a lot of time for users who want to choose the wanted games and apps. If you trust Apple's editorial team, then now you can go to "Editors' Choice" to see what apps they are recommending. Some current Editors' Choice picks on the iOS App Store include the new Facebook Camera app, Extreme Skater, Sketchbook Ink, and Air Mail. On the Mac App Store, Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Cobook are being highlighted as Editors' Choices.

So you can see that this activity is not just helpful for us users, it's also a chance for game developers, obviously, after all, most people will try the app that recommended by Apple's editors. You know, there are millions of apps and games in App Store, and not every of them will be known by users, unless an app appears in the various stores' top 10 or at least top 25 lists, chances are that most users will never see it unless Apple decides to feature the app in its "new and noteworthy" section.

Now here are the questions. Are the "Editors' Choices" selected by curators based on what they consider a top app product? We don't know. What the criteria would be to have an app be selected as an editor's choice, we have no idea. Even Apple has declared that the editors are from Apple, still we don't know. But one thing is for sure, which is the app or game must be worthy, if not, there is no chance that it would be chosen by editors.

When you really don't know what apps and games to install in iDevices, you can consider "Editors' Choices", and download them in iTunes, and here is a tip for you, if you have downloaded anything in iTunes that has DRM protection, free drm removal can help.
