2:14 AM - Top 5 Games for iPod Touch

Even though iPod is designed for playing music mainly, but its applications are far more than that, as game fans, naturally, we want to use our iPod to play games whenever we want.

Yep, Apple brand products all have powerful functions, but you know, iPod is much cheaper than iPhone, not to mention iPad, so I guess, iPod is the best choice for us. Of course, it's another thing if you have enough money, after all, iPad is the hottest thing in the market, just need to figure out how to sync ipad 2 then we can share our stuff in iPad with our friends and family with computer. But for domestic consumers, it's more appropriate to buy iPod, it can give you the same enjoyment, and here are the best interesting games for iPod Touch, you still own then even though you don't have iPhone.

1. Speed Forge Extreme 3D

Speed Forge Extreme 3D is a flight racing games, it has 2142 the outer space as background, with beautiful 3D graphics, set battle speed in the game. There are two operating modes: gravity sensor and a virtual steering wheel.

2. Cliffed Free

This is the Ad-Supported Version of Cliffed XL. Challenge your friends to the most addictive race to the bottom! IUGO presents its latest sensation in casual gaming with this frantic 2D scrolling racer. WARNING: This game will get your heart and fingers racing!

3. STREET FIGHTER IV

This game has been a symbol of those iconic figures. Aris ancient, Chun-Li, Russian Colonel have all come back. In the new era under the new 3D technology, they become more three-dimensional rendering and vivid. The picture is more brilliant, with close-ups. The only thing that doesn't change is the essence of the game. Fighting game still makes us boiling. The game included 8 classic roles and 7 different fighting environments, and you can adjust four levels of difficulty.

4. TightWire

TightWire is a challenging, tilt-based game that revolves around an extraordinarily simple concept: tightrope walking. Using the accelerometer, your task is to guide a rather obese character as he fights gravity and struggles to cross the chasm between buildings. Surprisingly enough, it's addicting, challenging, and definitely polished.

5. Dungeon Hunter 2

The benchmark for action RPGs hits your iPhone & iPod touch in its second opus. Slide to Play says, "Exceptional games like Dungeon Hunter don't come along often." And that is why you need to play its sequel. Dungeon Hunter 2 looks and controls much better than its predecessor, and boasts an improved save system that no longer loses player progress whenever you have to take a phone call or suddenly exit the app. Other welcome additions, like an improved character customization system and online multiplayer co-op support, make this a markedly better game than the already-solid Dungeon Hunter.

Which one of them has attraction to you? Maybe you can upload to your computer with ipod to computer transfer, share it with your friends, it will be fun.

3:22 AM - Are You One of Apple Users Who Can Not Download Apps with iOS 3?

What would you feel if your iPhone or iPod touch can't download apps any more? Angry? Well, this problem may be the hottest topic right now. More and more iPhone and iPod users have complained that they can't download any app right now, what's going on?

"Whenever I go into a specific app in the app store, none of the buttons work properly," Apple user mwiesner wrote in the Apple forums. Specifically, he said an app will not download once you click the price, the ratings button is inactive, and photos do not appear, among other things. Actually, we will meet lots of problems when we use iDevices, the battery issues, now the update issues, so it's very important to know more about how to make the most of your iDevices like iPod. For example, how to backup the files in iPod so you won't lose them? When that problem comes to you, you should know that you need an ipod to computer transfer to help you backup. Well, that's not hard to fix, but this time, this update problem really peeves somebody.

Here are the reactions from Apple users, they are serious and I guess Apple should take this problem seriously, too, however, Apple hasn't responded any comment yet.

"I had no problems downloading apps on my iphone through the appstore a few days ago…

I can download apps on my PC and push them to my iphone…

I have plenty of free space and icon positions/pages for more apps on my phone…

It's just the app store on my iphone that NO-Longer works!"

Here is another user who is from France, no doubt, this is an international issue.

"Just to tell you all that I'm using a 3G under 3.1.3, can't update it because of my company rules, and App Store is a broken link for me too (same issues as described before). I'm in France," wrote one user.

Ok, there is a solution though, if you can't download apps with your iDevices which are running iOS 3, why not update it? Then everything will be fixed. Oh, really? Maybe we should hear what this guy said.

"I know...upgrade to OS 4.x....I would but everything I read says that the iPod is basically useless after the upgrade as everything is too slow," wrote another. And update is risky, if you do that, you will lose everything you already have, songs, movies, files in your iPod, everything, of course, if you know how to transfer music from ipod to computer, then you won't lose nothing, but generally, we all don't want to update it, unless we have to, especially the problem is caused by our own mistakes, however, this time, we have nothing to do with it, it's all because of Apple. This is definitely an issue on Apple's side which Apple must resolve.

Are you one of them whose iDevice have been stuck with its older OS, can't run iOS 4 or iOS 5, can't update it, can't download any app, and Apple hasn't give you a resolution, do you feel you can't do anything about it? Let me know.

2:38 AM - Top 5 iPod Apps You May Have Missed in 2011

It's not easy to choose a few good apps from vast apps library, and now 2011 is almost ended, do you know what top-rank apps you have missed during the year? Well, here is my collection of the best apps for iPod touch, you may want to try some.

1. Tiny Tower. Maybe Tiny Tower is not your cup of tea, but trust me, it's not that easy to play, if you really want to get over it, you need to know more tricks, and find out the knacks yourself. Tiny Tower puts you in charge of a residential or business block of towers; you can build and furnish additional floors to attract "bitizens" (residents) and then manage their daily affairs (much as in SimCity).

2. Djay. Djay is a virtual, touch screen DJ setup with a realistic turntable and mixer interface that lets you mix, spin, cue and scratch your tracks straight from your iPod music library. Users can take full advantage of the djay app's Split Output mode to cue upcoming songs through their headphones, independently of the live mix that is sent through the speakers. This is the perfect solution for DJs on-the-go using headphones to preview and prepare the next song to ensure the audience can groove seamlessly to the playlist. The DJ Cable offers a unique experience for beginners and professionals alike turning any social event into the ultimate dance party.

3. Instagram. It's not as good as the iPhone's shooter, but it's certainly good enough. The Instagram app lets you apply cool filters to make your photos look old, or edgy, or like a Polaroids, and then share them on the Web. It's a great, fast way to get your photos out there and see what other people are shooting.

4. ipod to computer software. Maybe you don't need it often, but when you have this kind of needs, for example, you want to back up your files from iPod to computer, this is what you need. iTunes can help us sync files from computer to iPod, but it can't help us do the opposite thing, so to make the most of your iPod, you definitely need this.

5. Snapseed. Snapseed is a popular photo editing app. First off, it uses gestures, which are well-explained within the app. It contains all the basic editing functions like crop, rotate, and the ability to adjust brightness, saturation, etc. You get a number of filters and frames to enhance your photos. You can always check back to compare your altered photo to your original one. Save your finished creation to your camera roll. Print and/or share directly from Snapseed to email, Facebook, or Flickr if you like.

These are what you've probably missed in the past year, but that's just the tip of the iceberg, there are much more that you may don't know, like how to get music off ipod onto computer, I can tell you, if you know more about these tricks, you can have the biggest fun with your iPod.

1:49 AM - Top 5 Apps for iPod Touch

The brand new year is coming, are you ready to increase new apps from your iPod touch? Among all those apps, do you know which one is what you can't miss? Here are top 5 apps for your iPod Touch, maybe you want to try one or more.

1. Cut the Rope: Holiday Gift. A quick synopsis of the idea is candy is suspended above a green monster of some type named Om nom, and it's your task to cut the ropes holding the candy in order to deliver it to the little guy. Of course, nothing in life is simple, or at least not in games, since that would take the fun out of things, so there are three golden stars to collect in each level as well. Of course there are various other objects that need to be used in order to achieve your goal, some of which will be familiar to those that played the original (bubbles) and some new (stockings), but each is explained in turn.

2. free ipod to itunes transfer. The reason that I recommend this app is simple, I have seen many questions about how to transfer files from iPod to iTunes or computer. The reason is obvious, because iTunes doesn't provide us the function to backup stuff of our iPod to other devices, but we have that demand sometimes, for example, when we have a new laptop, everything in iTunes will gone, but we don't want this, so with this app, we can transfer the music and movies etc from iPod to our new computers.

3. Camera+. The great thing about Camera+ is just the sheer number of options you have. You can of course use auto-focus and auto-exposure when taking pictures, with the ability to lock in the focus so you can adjust exposure easily, take pictures with front or rear cameras, and use digital zoom. As well, there's a stabilizer option so you can take steady pictures, a timer so you can take photos on a delay, and a very cool Burst feature that lets you continuously take pictures as you hold down on the camera button.

4. Fruit Ninja. Fruit Ninja made a splash (or was that a splatter?) this year in the App Store sales charts, and it's a must-try for casual and serious gamers alike. Let's see how people appraise it:

"It's simple, fun and best of all challenging." - Touch Arcade Review

"Fruit Ninja is fun, fun, fun. It's an instant pleasure." IGN review

"The low price makes the game more than worth it." - TUAW Review

"Fruit Ninja is the sort of game that has come to typify the rising dominance of quick, simple and most of all additively fun gameplay." - AppSpy Review

5. Words with Friends. Zynga's addictive Scrabble clone allows you to play multiple turn-based games simultaneously with up to 20 friends. Words With Friends also allows you chat with your opponents, that's unexpected.

All these apps are the most popular ones among vast library, of course, there are more out there, such as transferring music from ipod to computer, you can check out which one you have missed.

What conditions should an app meet so that it can be called as a good app for iPod touch? Firstly, it must be able to work without Internet, because we all know Wi-Fi is not so popular. Secondly, it must be interesting, after all entertainment is the primary characteristic of iPod Touch. Why do you want an iPod touch? Just to listen to music? Of course not, music, movies, games, entertainment, any of them is indispensable, but how? Well, that's what those apps used for.

1. Line 2. People always say an iPod touch is an iPhone without phone, well, not any more, even though it can't be used as a phone originally, but with the help of some app, like this Line 2, everything is possible. You can assign a real phone number to make calls and send and receive text messages over Wi-Fi. It costs $9.95/month to make unlimited calls (after a free trial), and if you're offline, you can set Line2 to automatically forward to a different phone.

2. iPod to computer transfer. Somehow, we need to transfer files from iPod to computer, and we know that iTunes can't help us with that, so a third-party tool is essential, with this ipod to computer transfer free, we can backup our files in iPod in case losing them, and also, when we change a new laptop or lose everything in our computer, we can move those songs, movies, apps, games etc from iPod to PC, so we don't have to buy them twice, which definitely will cost us a lot of money, so obviously, this tool aims to protect your iPod.

3. Dropbox. The eternal theme of iPod touch application eternal theme is to work perfectly no matter offline or online, well, Dropbox is a great example, you can always access your files, or download them to your iPod Touch, also send your own content to other people. When you are not with your computer but have an emergency on work, it is your shwd.

4. VLC. Playing videos and audios is not iPod touch's strength, unless you install VLC, it can play almost any type of file. You can sync videos or audios to your iPod touch via iTunes, if you don't want them in your iPod any more but don't want to delete them, you can transfer movie from ipod to computer, of course, if you think they are worthless to you, you can just delete those files in the iPod directly.

5. Radio. Except for iTunes, Radio is the best way for iPod touch to play music. You can access its music jukebox, play singles, album or playlist. You can also download music to your iPod, as long as you subscribe to Radio (free trial $ 9.99 / month), even offline you also can listen to songs.

3:08 AM - Why Are People So Obsessed with iPod Touch

iPod series is not Apple's favorite in current time even it did change the traditional music mode and the whole music industry, because that happened about ten years ago, people are not attracted by iPod nano, iPod shuffle any more, not like before. However, that's exactly why iPod touch is still chased by Apple fans and the amount of iPod touch users is keeping increasing.

Considering iPod series' contributions, Apple doesn't want to give it up. After all, it was iPod who saved Apple inc. ten years ago. But time is changing, people pay more intention to iPhone and iPad, it seems like iPod nano and iPod shuffle are outdated just like another players that weeded out because of appearance of iPod. So Apple has to figure it out how to save iPod, the result is iPod touch, which is called by Apple person "iPhone without phone". It's easy to understand, iPod touch has the same functions as iPhone, it's just users can't make a phone call with it, literally.

Whatever apps that can be run in iPhone, they are available on iPod touch too, no matter all kinds of accessories or games. Moreover, there are many especial tools for iPod touch, such as ipod to computer software, which is designed specially for iPod touch users to protect the files in iPod touch in case deleting them by accident. Compare to iPhone, the biggest advantage of iPod touch is the price, we all know that it's much cheaper than iPhone. To enjoy the same experience with cheaper price, who won't want it?

The latest iPod touch models have two cameras, one on the front and one on the back. They can make Facetime video calls to other current iPod touch devices, iPhone 4 handsets and Macintosh computers running Mac OS X 10.6.4 or later. The camera also gives you the chance to capture and edit HD video using your iPod touch. The mp3 player now has a retina display with four times more pixels on the screen than previous iPod touch models.

If you are new Apple user, you hardly can distinguish the iPod touch and iPhone just looking at the picture, what I said iPod touch is "iPhone without phone" is not totally right, because there are many apps can help you turn iPod touch to iPhone, like Skype, which is the most familiar video chat software for us.

Of course, the features of iPod touch are more than what I listed, if you decide to own one, you should know how to transfer music from ipod to computer, because maybe you will delete these files in your iPod touch by accident that have cost you lots of money, so it's better to make a backup to other devices.

Most of us can afford an iPod touch, so for those people who are really obsessed with Apple devices, iPod touch is the first and best choice. Even iPhone and iPad dominate the headline of all kinds of new, but you can believe that Apple has further expectations on iPod touch, so more benefits will come to iPod touch users.

2:57 AM - Will iPod Touch 5 Still Come to Us?

Who is talking about iPod touch 5? No one? Why? I mean before the third generation iPad and new Apple TV or new iPhone being released, the whole world is talking about them, but now, have you heard anything about the new iPod touch? Not really, so the first thing we need to do is to have a very clear understanding of iPod touch and believe that iPod touch 5 will come.

iPod touch is much cheaper than iPhone or iPad, but it has almost the same functions. Since its release, the iPod touch has become a popular portable media player. Its sibling iPod models specialize in audio and video playback, which is great if that's all you need. The iPod touch goes beyond that, including two cameras, wireless networking, built-in applications for e-mail and Web browsing and the option to install many of the thousands of applications available through the App Store. To protect the apps in your iPod touch, there are many tools being designed for iPod touch, like ipod computer transfer, you just need to transfer files from iPod touch to computer in case losing them.

The iPod touch's home screen also looks like the iPhone's. When you touch a capacitive surface, the amount of charge it holds changes. This is why devices like the iPod touch require you to touch them with your bare skin -- insulating materials like gloves, pens and styluses don't cause the same changes in the capacitive circuitry. Regardless of which method the screen uses, you change the electrical properties of the screen every time you touch it.

When comes to business usage, generally, people go to iPhone and iPad. This is not fair, because iPod touch can do the same thing. The iPod touch supports the same OS (iOS 5), multi-touch-driven interface and apps ecosystem as its brethren. It hosts FaceTime meetings; with some effort and some software/hardware additions, there are ways to make the device place calls. Straight out of the box, the iPod includes the Safari browser, Calendar, Mail, Reminders for to-do lists, Contacts and Notes for email-synced note-taking.

The iPod touch grew in popularity in its first three years, and it came close to outselling the iPhone in late 2009. The Apple iPad, introduced in early 2010, does most everything the iPod touch can do, but on a larger device with more features. That's when people start to worry about the future and fate of iPod touch, but that issue has been talked about for a long time, right? See what has happened to iPod touch? Nothing, except iPod touch is becoming better and better.

Now you know why you should pay attention to iPod touch 5, logically, iPod touch 5 will meet us this year, even there is no news about it, but we should believe that it will not disappear. If you are handing an iPod touch right now, you should know how to transfer music from ipod to computer, that's a very important tip for all of you to protect your devices.

4:35 AM - Next Generation iPod Touch May Feature A5 or A5x Processor

So after all discusses about the new iPad and new Apple TV, Apple continues to reveal a little information to seize people's attention, so what it is this time? Ok, here is a hint, you haven't heard about the update or any information about iPod touch for a long time, right? Now according to the news, new generation iPod touch is on the way.

9 to 5 Mac said that Apple is working on a new iPod touch. If you already have an iPod touch, you need to know how to restore ipod without itunes, which is a very important protection for iPod touch. Of course, if you have more interests in the coming iPod touch, then you may don't need to care about much. The new iPod touch will come to us eventually, it just on one knows what it will be like, but there is one thing which can be sure, the processor. Obviously, Apple won't let iPod touch be the special one, we all now that the iPod touch is the only current-generation iOS product with a single core Apple A4 processor, all current iPhone and iPad models have faster dual-core A5 or A5x processor, so there is a big chance that Apple will update the processor in new iPod touch, which is just a common sense.

Some of us were really disappointed about the update of iPod touch in 2011, which was just the addition of a model with a white case. I mean every year Apple would release new iPod touch, but last year? That was really hurtful, why? Because it was the only iOS device not receive internal nor cosmetic changes last year.

If the guess about processor is true, the change of new iPod touch will not just add a new white model or anything facial. Until the end of the year, all iOS devices will run A5 or A5x processor, if this change won't appear, then Apple must lose its mind, you see, Apple is the kind of company that cares about consumers, at least that's what they said, so what consumers will say when they get a new iPod touch with A4 processor, while other people are all using A5 or A5x processor, Apple would not keep the promise like this.

So according to a file inside of an internal iOS 5.1 build, the fifth-generation iPod touch Apple is working on is labeled iPod 5.1 internally. We haven't heard any specifics regarding the new iPod touch hardware, but the jump from 4.1 (the current internal iPod touch label) to 5.1 indicates major internal changes, at the very least. After all, the iPod touch is one of the most popular gaming devices on the market, and Apple's dual-core iOS device processors offer top-of-the-line graphics performance.

When we are waiting for the further information, we may just make the most of the devices we have right now, learn how to extract files from ipod to computer and others tricks, maybe also we can guess what's name of the new iPod touch.
