3:08 AM - â??Editorsâ?? Choiceâ?? Recommends Newest Apps and Games for You in App Store

Last week, Apple updated "Free App of the Week" in App Store, even we don't know if the developers of those apps agree to reduce the price voluntarily or Apple has promised to make up for them, no matter what, for us, it is good news though. Moreover, another good news comes recently, which is Apple updates the "Editors' Choice" in App Store.

Apple says they will present the most innovative applications and fun game in the "Editors' Choice" to users. Taking a look at this section constantly to know the newest apps and games, information of updates in App Store, or visit the former "Editors' Choice" to add more excellent applications and games for iDevices. So that Apple can be more flexible when selecting applications. And Apple makes it clear in iTunes that all the recommended applications and games are screened by their editorial team. This function now mainly serve for iPhone and iPad, so if you own one of them, why not try the recommendations, also, if you prefer to watch movies on iPad, you can transfer a tons of movies to it with ipad converter.

"Editors' Choice" will save a lot of time for users who want to choose the wanted games and apps. If you trust Apple's editorial team, then now you can go to "Editors' Choice" to see what apps they are recommending. Some current Editors' Choice picks on the iOS App Store include the new Facebook Camera app, Extreme Skater, Sketchbook Ink, and Air Mail. On the Mac App Store, Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Cobook are being highlighted as Editors' Choices.

So you can see that this activity is not just helpful for us users, it's also a chance for game developers, obviously, after all, most people will try the app that recommended by Apple's editors. You know, there are millions of apps and games in App Store, and not every of them will be known by users, unless an app appears in the various stores' top 10 or at least top 25 lists, chances are that most users will never see it unless Apple decides to feature the app in its "new and noteworthy" section.

Now here are the questions. Are the "Editors' Choices" selected by curators based on what they consider a top app product? We don't know. What the criteria would be to have an app be selected as an editor's choice, we have no idea. Even Apple has declared that the editors are from Apple, still we don't know. But one thing is for sure, which is the app or game must be worthy, if not, there is no chance that it would be chosen by editors.

When you really don't know what apps and games to install in iDevices, you can consider "Editors' Choices", and download them in iTunes, and here is a tip for you, if you have downloaded anything in iTunes that has DRM protection, free drm removal can help.
