2:45 AM - Happy Feet 2 The Best Animated Film for Christmas
Among all kinds of movies that released before Christmas, "Happy
Feet 2" is the best one that can let us experience the happy
atmosphere of Christmas (I think). After the smash hit of "Happy
Feet", the sequel "Happy Feet 2" returns with a high box office in
its debut, just be inferior to "Twilight 4 (Part1)".
Mumble, The Master of Tap, has a problem because his tiny
son, Erik, is choreo-phobic. Reluctant to dance, Erik runs away and
encounters The Mighty Sven-a penguin who can fly! Mumble has no
hope of competing with this charismatic new role model. But things
get worse when the world is shaken by powerful forces. Erik learns
of his father's "guts and grit" as Mumble brings together the
penguin nations and all manner of fabulous creatures-from tiny
Krill to giant Elephant Seals-to put things right. It proves that a
lot of love, along with a little help from your friends, can go a
long way. Ok, it has a deeper meaning, although as an animated
film, we can't expect more, honestly, it's a good film though, you
can convert the DVD version to AVI with
dvd
to avi converter freeware if you would like to watch the high
definition DVD on your portable devices.
In a major subplot, Matt Damon and Brad Pitt voice two chatty
krill. Their journey to move up the food chain provides a few funny
moments and the most spectacular visuals, including krill swarms, a
whale attack and jellyfish encounters. But their rather-nonsensical
quest isn't well-integrated into the main story. There are several
pop remixes, of course, and songstress Pink (as Erik's mom) shows
off her vocal chops, even as she reveals a limited acting range.
The real-world Antarctica and Southern Ocean consists of a
wide range of species, and in Happy Feet Two we get to see a bit
more variation in these represented. As mentioned earlier, krill is
more prominently featured, and so are the elephant seals. Several
different penguin species can be seen as well - all well animated
and lifelike. The Happy Feet Two movie opened up in US movie
theaters on November 20th, 2011 and scored $21.2 million dollars in
its opening weekend.
The sequel told how one little penguin rallies his colony
trapped by shifting ice due to climate change. Someone says it
looked like "just more of the same," instead of something
compelling and new. However, if you have kids or you just like it
yourself, it's not bad to pass your time with it, after all, it's a
music movie, so it will be much fun to rip it to your iPad or iPod
with
dvd ripper for mac and
watch it whenever you want.
Even though it has a great box office, for most of us, it is
just a sequel that has no new themes and just wants to make us have
a good mood in Thanksgiving or coming Christmas, well, it has
achieved that goal, ignore those drawbacks given by critics, it is
a good movie which filled with laugh and music.
