10:56 PM - Torchwood:the Miracle Day

Caption Jack has been back in July, Torchwood has released the fourth season - The Miracle Day, by now, we can enjoy eight episodes or more, I'm not sure.

"Torchwood" is a sci-fi TV series created by Russell Davis and John Barrowman and Eve Myles act the leading roles. It describes a fictional story about torchwood Academy third division in Cardiff. The main task of Torchwood Research Institute is to research supernatural and extraterrestrial. As derivative drama of "Doctor Who" which is British science fiction television series that has longevity, there is a closely relation between these two dramas.

The first season had 13 episodes, already broadcasted on BBC3 in October 2006, and the second season also had 13 episodes which were broadcast on BBC2 in January 2008. And the third season was a mini-drama has 5 episodes, each episode was an hour, was broadcast in July 2009 in a week.

But there is a prominent difference between two shows, because the "Torchwood" is broadcast after 9:00 pm, so compared to "Doctor Who", it contains more adult content. Davis said "Doctor Who" is not allowed to involve any adult-oriented ideas in an interview of BBC Wales Radio. In the first season, we can see many scenes that never will be seen in "Doctor Who", including the sex scene (in "Day One" and "Out of Time" in), and similar to that appeared in many episodes. BBC3 thinks that "Torchwood" is the most shining series in fall of 2006. John said that "in the first season I do not have any naked scene, they said there would be in the second season, I do not mind naked as long as they pay me the right money, I am ready to show off my"….you know what he means, huh huh.

The fourth season "Torchwood- the Miracle Day" is broadcast in Starz. From the BBC to Starz, from Cardiff to the United States, "Torchwood" has new integration, there are new stories be told, and new characters debuted, as well as new enemies destruct the calm and peaceful life of human beings. …To me, John Barrowman is always my idol, he is the reason I back to season4, but after seeing 8 episodes, I find the story is more attractive.

Suddenly one day, humans stop dying. The whole world, no one dies. But people are still very fragile and can be hurt or get sick, but they can't die. This phenomenon causes a merited result: the number of people is bursting. Population is growing, but resources are limited. It is said that in the next four months, the human will grow to the limit, the entire planet will overload. But this "Miracle Day" can never be a natural phenomenon, it must be a very sinister conspiracy. Rex Matheson, a CIA agent, begins to investigate this global conspiracy, he races against time, and the answer relates to a very old institution Torchwood of UK. Rex has been keeping asking, "What is Torchwood?" He was involved in the vortex of this conspiracy, and he got hurt, too, but of course, he was still alive, becoming one of those walking dead. After he getting connect with Torchwood, he joined them.

I think that story is very attractive, we all want to who is leading this global conspiracy, and how the Torchwood will beat them, and of course, who will be Jack' Mr. Right, something like that. Anyway, you can watch it on your ipad when you are boring on the metro, figure out how to convert video to ipad on mac with a dvd to ipad converter, then you can kill your time.

4:24 AM - New Year's Eve A Romantic Film Filled with Pretty Stars

If you still remember 2010′s "Valentine's Day" and have interest in that kind of film, then you are lucky, this year its sequel "New Year's Eve" will have a date with you in New Year's Eve or earlier, just like its previous work, "New Year's Eve" still fills with a bunch of stars, Ashton Kutcher, Robert De Niro, Jessica Biel, Zac Efron, Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel etc. They will celebrates love, hope, forgiveness, second chances and fresh starts, in the intertwining stories told amidst the pulse and promise of New York City on the most dazzling night of the year.

After director Garry Marshall and writer Katherine Fugate's box-office success with Valentine's Day, a sequel of sorts was inevitable. Even the sequel has the same formula, packing as many celebrities as you can into multiple storylines and hope that all those pretty faces and gushy sentiments will distract you from realizing you're watching a same and no difference movie, but who can ignore a movie that has no many big shots aim to express love in New Year's Eve? So what you can do is not to judge, just to enjoy. By the way, if you want to enjoy this movie on your portable devices, the best video converter can do that for you.

As the new members in this movie, Jon Bon Jovi acted a rock star, it was a natural starring. At a party he met his ex-girlfriend (Halle Berry) who was dumped by him by accident. Seth Meyers played a failure father, in order to get $ 25,000 prize money, tried to convince his pregnant wife (Jessica Bell) to give birth to the first baby in New Year of whole United States, only to find that he faced the unexpected fierce competition from a number of families.

There's the mousy middle-aged woman (an unattractively photographed Michelle Pfeiffer) who impulsively quits her boring desk job. She's hellbent on fulfilling resolutions amassed over the years - like traveling around the world and seeing Bali - all in a day. She engages the services of a bike messenger (Zac Efron) who cuts corners but offers more excitement than she apparently has ever known. (He takes her to a spa named Bali and the world travel is done by hopping around a giant map in a museum.) Charmed yet?

Other vignettes are just as lame-brained. A slacker/New Year's Eve hater (Ashton Kutcher) and his perky neighbor (Glee's Lea Michele) get stuck in an elevator. Initially they can't stand each other, then after she sings a song in the confined space, sparks ignite.

Although the story line has not much freshness, watching this movie feels like attending a crowed Hollywood party filled with pretty people, so what will you lose? One hour and forty-five minutes? On the contrary, it's kind of entertainment to spend your spare time, just need a free mp4 converter, then you can enjoy it on your iPad anytime.
