I bet you must have learned that Square Enix has announced on its official European blog that Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions for iPhone and iPod Touch will be hitting the App Store this Thursday, August. After receiving Apple's approval, Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions will be out on Thursday, as expected -- and it'll be priced rather highly as far as iPhone/iPod Touch games goes.

As we know, the original Final Fantasy Tactics game was released on the Playstation console in 1997 in Japan, and in 1998 in North America. It was also released on the PLAYSTATION Network in 2009. Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions, an updated version of the game, was released on the PlayStation Portable console in 2007. A PLAYSTATION Network version was released in March in Japan and in July in North America.

She and fellow producer Scott Kroopf approached Burger to direct the film, at the time titled The Dark Fields. For Burger, who had written and directed his previous three films, the collaboration was his first foray solely as director. With Universal Pictures developing the project, Shia LaBeouf was announced in April 2008 to be cast as the film's star.

Edward "Eddie" Morra (Bradley Cooper) is a writer who lives in New York City and has recently been dumped by his girlfriend Lindy (Abbie Cornish) in addition to failing to meet the deadline to turn in his new book, which he hasn't started yet. The project eventually moved to development under Relativity Media and Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Produced with Universal distributing through Relativity's Rogue Pictures. By November 2009, actor Bradley Cooper replaced LaBeouf in the starring role. Robert De Niro was cast opposite Cooper by March 2010, and The Dark Fields began filming in Philadelphia the following May.Filming also took place in New York City.

If you are a mac user, I bet you must have heard that Apple has released Mac OS X Lion on its Mac App Store and, as promised, the new operating system is selling for $31.99.

Mac OS X Lion (version 10.7) is the eighth major release of Mac OS X, Apple's desktop and server operating system for Macintosh computers. Lion was released on July 20, 2011, as announced during Apple's third quarter 2011 earnings report. Apple's homepage and Mac OS X webpages refer to it as OS X Lion, without the "Mac", although Apple's press release for Lion's July release mainly uses "Mac OS X Lion" rather than "OS X Lion". Built on a rock-solid UNIX foundation, OS X is engineered to take full advantage of the technologies in every new Mac. And  to deliver the most intuitive and integrated computer experience.

There's no going into an Apple store and buying a copy of this new OS for Intel-based Apple laptops and desktops on a DVD. As an insider, I bet you must have learned that Apple have approved the Google+ app for the iPhone, and posted it to the App Store. This adds the much needed capability for uploading photos, and huddle - which allows you to group message between G+ mobile users just as easy as we transfer music from ipod to computer. If you're accustomed to the webapp this should be an easy switch as the two are basically the same. What's more Google will offer a Google+ app for the iPad and iPod Touch "soon," a company product manager said today.

The stream is very similar to the web app. Swipe to left and you can see your incoming stream. Swipe to the right and you can see who is sharing things nearby, which is a great way to meet new people if I might add. Within the stream you can Check-In and Share items, and attach your geo-location if you'd like. The only thing missing within the stream is the ability to re-share items. I'd also like to note that the notifications work a lot better than on the web app.

"Please give us time. We will have support for all those devices soon," said Punit Soni, the lead product manger of Google+ for mobile, on his Google+ stream. Soni was responding to numerous questions -- and some complaints -- from users frustrated that the Google+ app released earlier Monday runs only on the iPhone.

His comment was part of a thread in which Soni urged the earliest adopters to remove Google+ from their iPhone.

From Friendster, Friendfeed, MySpace and Facebook, users are familiar with how a social platform is theoretically supposed to look. At its core level, Plus is not that much different. Yet, there is so much more. How do you get started with Google Plus? Let's break down the nuts and bolts.

One of the great differentiators between Twitter and Facebook is the "unbalanced" or "balanced" follow. Facebook was initially a two-way follow paradigm - I friend you, you friend me and we see each other's updates. This has been changed with the ability to "like" groups, brands and pages without them following you back. Twitter has always been a one-way follow - I follow you and you do not necessarily have to follow me back.

Moreover, posting a status update in Plus is not like sending a Tweet or updating Facebook. The core functions of an update are present - photos, links, video and location - but when you hit "share" it doesn't automatically post your message to everybody in your circles. You have the option to decide which circles your update is posted to, from individual groups to all circles, to extended circles, or just a single person.
