3:00 AM - The Best PDF Reader Apps for the iPad

Now that Apple's iPad has become popular, many users will want to view PDF files on the go. With a brilliant screen, e-books and documents display beautifully on the iPad.

So, do you need a good PDF Reader App to view PDF's on your iPad? If you do not know which pdf reader app is suitable for you, I will tell some good pdf readers for you here.

iBooks
Apple's native e-book reader is perhaps the worst choice for in-depth PDF reading. Although the app recently gained the ability to include PDFs alongside e-books, its features are still severely limited. The interface is the slowest among all the apps we tried, taking up to two seconds for a single page to be rendered (an instantaneous action on better readers), and you have no way to highlight, annotate or copy any of the text from the PDF. The search function works well, giving you access to Wikipedia and Google for a Net search if needed, but it kicks you out of the 'iBooks' app and into Safari instead of doing the search in-app. We'd only recommend 'iBooks' for the most casual of PDF readers.

E-book Readers
iPad e-book reading apps such as iBook, Stanza, Kindle and Nook can handle PDF documents as well as e-book formats. Features on the PDF reader are limited compared to the e-book format, but you can pinch zoom to resize the text for easier reading. Some apps also offer in-app brightness or contrast adjustment so you can set the background and text contrast at a level that is easy on the eyes.

PDF Readers
The iPad App Store is full of PDF readers with various features, including the ability to mark up PDFs or add signatures and fill in forms. Each reader's features are explained in the store's deion, so check out several options before you settle on a specific one. Look for one that allows color and contrast adjustment, one and two-page layout views, zoom and search features.

iAnnotate PDF'
iAnnotate PDF' is like the PhotoshopCS5 to the other apps' MS Paint. In fact, it may suffer from too many features, with a zillion helpful pop-ups for every page and tool. Thankfully, once you've worked your way through the app's myriad options, you can turn off the help windows, and customize the interface within an inch of its life. It sports dynamic highlighting, a pen tool, notes and bookmarks, all of which can be saved to the file so that they can be read in any PDF reader on any device.

Pdf format is popular in many areas, not only on ipad but also many other device, especially useful to engineer, they usually need to convert their works to pdf files and then share them with their customers, but when their customers are not satisfied with their work, they have to edit it, the question is that pdf is not editable, how can the engineer do? One way is to convert pdf to dxf with the pdf to dxf freeware. Or they can also convertpdftodwg and then edit them.

1:24 AM - What iPad Apps Does A Student Need?

While the laptop remains the tech tool of choice for most college students, many are embracing portable and innovative tablets like the iPad. Since its release in 2010, the iPad has taken the tech market by storm and become a popular, educational and fun tool for both teachers and students alike. It is increasingly infiltrating college education, with some schools even offering free iPads for enrollees.

Whether you're a college student looking for new apps to stock your iPad or someone just curious what kind of appropriate resources are out there, start your search with these 48 great apps. Among them, students will find help with everything from keeping homework organized to finding the perfect first date spot - and just about everything in between.

1. Dictionary.com.
This made the list of top iPhone apps and is a must have for the iPad as well. Added functionality and an updated inventory of almost 1 million words makes this app a great companion in the college atmosphere. The entire dictionary, as well as the added thesaurus, is available offline. Additional features are available during Wi-Fi connectivity.

2. Netflix.
If you haven't figured that relaxation is extremely important during college, you will soon. What better way to relax then to curl up with a good movie or TV show on a cold or rainy weekend, and just forget about all the things that you still need to do. The entire Netflix online library is available with this app and it streams right to the iPad. A Netflix membership is required. Keep an eye out for the Hulu app that's supposedly coming soon, as well.

3. Sundry Notes
Not only does Sundry Notes serve a valuable organizational purpose, it also costs nothing as well! With the ability to import .pdf files, format writings, make quick drawings, run searches of Wikipedia, Google, and Google Books, snag images off the internet, make recordings, and much more, educators need to download this application to help keep everything they need for class organized in one place. Math teachers will especially enjoy the ability to work on virtual graph paper.

4. Free Books
Any educators with a need for quick reference to 23,469 books (and counting!) should absolutely download this amazing resource. Completely free, not only does it provide access to classic novels, but autobiographies, letters, speeches, and other writings by significant historical figures and recognized geniuses - including the American presidents - works of philosophy by Seneca and other influential thinkers, Shakespeare's plays, and more as well!! Because of this, even teachers who do not focus on English still benefit greatly from what Free Books offers. But if you want to read some purchased books from itunes, you have to remove drm first with a drm removal software.

5. Mobile Air Mouse
Turn the iPad into a viable wireless remote or trackpad using Mobile Air Mouse, which fortunately sports far more uses than these. Educators with a love of incorporating technology into the classroom will appreciate how it functions as an all-in-one tool with a number of excellent remote control, trackpad, keyboard, and foreign language functions - they can even place a computer into sleep mode and wake it back up! The application comes very much in handy for controlling the visual aids during lectures by reducing the amount of necessary equipment.

Besides those useful apps, you may also need some tools for ipad, such as dvd to ipad converter coupon codes and ipad converter discount.

3:52 AM - Apple is preparing for 'iPad 3' event with colorful decorations

Apple on Friday began redecorating San Francisco's Yerba Buena Center for the Arts with a massive, colorful banner featuring the company's logo ahead of next week's media event.

Workers began covering the glass windows on the center Friday morning in California. Apple typically hypes its product unveilings with decorations throughout the center.

As of Friday afternoon, workers were about halfway done with sticking the design to the center's windows. This year's graphic is a mix of vivid colors in the background, with a giant white Apple logo up front.

The bright colors and what appear to be paint splatters in the design are somewhat reminiscent of the theme for the media event Apple held in early 2010 to introduce the first iPad. As rumors of an Apple tablet were swirling, Apple invited members of the media to "come see our latest creation."

This year's invitation features a picture of an iPad with a fingertip touching the iOS Calendar application icon. The date on the calendar is Wednesday, March 7, which is when the media event will be held.

Apple has unveiled its previous two iPad models in events at the Yerba Buena Center. Last year's decoration was a black Apple logo on a white background, surrounded by colorful dots.

Invitations to last year's event featured the iOS calendar icon peeling back to reveal an iPad. It invited members of the press to "come see what 2011 will be the year of," and at the event Apple declared it the "Year of iPad 2."

The fact that the 2012 invitation says that attendees need to "see" this year's update has been viewed by many as a reference to the high-resolution Retina Display that is expected to be one of the defining features of the next iPad. There has been mounting evidence leading up to this year's event that the so-called "iPad 3" will feature a 2,048-by-1,536-pixel display, doubling the resolution and quadrupling the number of pixels of previous iPad screens.

Are you looking forwards to the release of ipad 3? I am really want to own an ipad 3 if it is released. It is also a great thing if you have an ipad 2, with a dvd to ipad converter coupon codes and ipad converters discount you can play better with your ipad. If you also has an kindle and want to read books which are downloaded from itunes, you have to convert drm protected files and then you can read them on your kindle.

4:22 AM - What will the Apple iPad 3 be called?

It is said that apple ipad 3 will be released in the early march, and it has been a long wait for techies and Apple fans alike, but after a cryptic press invite was sent out last week we've just been counting the minutes.

The press conference announcement did very little to stop the iPad 3 rumour mill from continuing its barrage of speculation. There is a general consensus over certain aspects of Apple's latest device, after the more outrageous claims had been laid to rest.

Numerous reports have pointed to a 9.7-inch screen with a 2048 x 1536 retina display, a quad-core Apple A6 processor, and a slightly thicker body.

The tech world debate now concerns the next-gen iPad's name, with a number of different suggestions as to what it may be. So what will the iPad 3 actually be called? First, I would like to say that no matter what ipad 3 will be called, it is worth for you to own a new ipad, both the ipad 2 and ipad 3, and you then need the dvd to ipad converter for mac discount and ipad transfer coupon codes to help you play your ipad better.

Apple iPad 3 to be iPad 2S
This worrying rumour was sparked by a Chinese manufacturer that produces iPad cases. The company in question, called Chineestyle, is boldly already selling cases for the new iPad - with the name iPad 2S.

The company says it built the cases based on information given to it by an Apple supply chain vendor. It isn't completely unlikely that we'll see an iPad 2S tomorrow, but Apple might not want to anger fans in the same way as it did with the iPhone 4S.

And given that the iPad 3 is set to be a big upgrade to the iPad 2 - more so than the 4S was to the 4 - the 2S does not seem fitting.

Apple iPad 3 to be iPad HD
This is a far more likely scenario, with a number of tech blogs and manufacturers proclaiming the new iPad to be the iPad HD.

The HD stands for the higher-resolution Retina display, which would have double the linear resolution of the current iPad 2 screen.

Mashable, VentureBeat and CNet each reported that the new iPad will be named the iPad HD when Apple unveils the device Wednesday. Their story is also corroborated by an earlier discovery of alleged part listings from accessory makers Griffin and Belkin, as well as usage data from an application called Tapatalk.

By all accounts, calling the new tablet iPad HD makes sense. That's mainly because the most notable feature of the new Apple tablet is meant to be the higher-resolution display, which would have double the linear resolution of the iPad 2, from 1024 by 768 pixels to 2048 by 1536 pixels.
The iPad HD display's resolution would be higher than full 1080p HD video resolution at 1920 by 1080 pixels, and should display much sharper images. At 9.7 inches and double the current resolution, an iPad 3 display would have just over 260ppi pixel density. The only comparable Android tablet at this resolution is the Transformer Pad Infinity 700, with a 10.1-inch 1,920 by 1,200 pixels resolution screen.

Another significant feature that could make its way onto the iPad HD is 4G LTE connectivity and a quad-core chip dubbed the A6. The chip would have twice the power of the dual-core A5 found in the iPad 2 and iPhone 4S, making it powerful enough to drive the high-resolution display.

If you are an apple fan and have itunes on your computer, you then need to remove drm from itunes.

3:10 AM - Which Tablets Should You Get?

After months of rumors and speculation, the new Apple iPad is finally here. While the tablet market is growing more and more crowded by the day, for some people, Apple is the only tablet manufacturer worth considering. With that in mind, which is the better buy: Apple's brand-new iPad, or the newly discounted iPad 2? Which one should you get? First, let us see the comparison n between the two tablets. Or you can check out here What's the change from ipad 2 to the new ipad to learn more difference between them.

Processor
The original iPad introduced the spoils of Apple's 2008 acquisition of semiconductor company P.A. Semi. The Apple A4 was an ARM Cortex-A8-based core clocked at 1GHz. The iPad 2 introduced the A5, a dual-core chip based on the new ARM Cortex-A9 design. The A5 is clocked at 1 GHz. We don't yet know what the new iPad's A5X is clocked at, but it remains a dual-core chip.

Graphics
What the A5X does have is better graphics capability - with Apple saying the new processor has quad-core graphics. Like the iPhone 4, the iPad and iPad 2 both had an Imagination Technologies PowerVR SGX-based graphics chip and we expect the new iPad is the same.
Apple reckons the new graphics are "twice as fast" as Nvidia's Tegra 3, and offers four time the graphics performance of Nvidia's chip. We're not sure Nvidia will let Apple get away with that one - and we're not even sure it can be true - Tegra 3's performance is stunning and the Tegra 3 GPU has 12 GeForce graphics cores.

Memory
Like the original iPad and iPad 2, the new iPad comes loaded with 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of what is presumably still Toshiba-manufactured flash storage. iPad 2 packed 512MB of memory, but we don't yet have details on the new iPad, though we reckon it has to be 1GB.

Display
The screen is where the big change has happened. The iPad 2 inherited the 1024 x 768 LED-backlit display from the original iPad. The new iPad ups this significantly, with a 2048 x 1536 resolution display that has 264 pixels per inch - the pixels themselves are indistinguishable, just as on the iPhone 4 and 4S. Both are 9.7-inch displays and have a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating.

Communications
The new iPad ups the ante on the iPad 2 by introducing 4G LTE connectivity alongside the Wi-Fi capability.
As you'd expect, both have Assisted GPS and digital compass alongside the accelerometer found in all iOS devices and the three-axis gyroscope.
The new iPad also has separate US models for both the AT&T and Verizon networks, while there's also 21Mbps HSPA+, DC-HSDPA offering 42Mbps. LTE clocks in at 73Mbps. You can also use the new iPad as a Personal Hotspot via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or USB.
You also get Bluetooth 4.0 on the new iPad instead of Bluetooth 2.1.

3:23 AM - Great Tips to Maximize iPad Battery Life

So you've got your new iPad and are loving it's gorgeous Retina Display, right? Well, apart from its ultra-high resolution display, the new iPad also packs a pretty amazing battery. While it takes a little longer to charge than the previous models, it does last longer than the older models too. However, in order to push your device's average 10-hour battery life to the maximum, we suggest you make these following little adjustments, courtesy of OSX Daily.

1. Lower the Screen Brightness - We discussed this in a recent iPad tips post, but other than being easier on the eyes this will make the single biggest difference in battery life. With how bright the iPad 2 and Pad 3 displays are, you can usually get away with 60% brightness at all times. At night, going down to 30% or 40% brightness or less is easier on the eyes and will conserve even more battery. Access the setting by double-tapping the home button and swiping to the left.

2. Use Airplane Mode - When doing something that doesn't require internet access, turning on AirPlane Mode can save some battery life. Perfect for reading books or doing things on the iPad, and it has the added bonus of preventing internet distractions. Find this in Settings > Airplane Mode

3. Disable Bluetooth - If you aren't using Bluetooth for an external wireless keyboard or otherwise, keep it disabled

4. Shut off your Wifi and iCloud when not in use

5. Download and watch movies from the iPad itself rather than streaming with YouTube or Netflix, if you want to watch dvd movies on your ipad, you have to convert dvd to ipad supported formats with the help of some tools, such as the dvd to ipad converter discount, if you are using a mac, then you need the dvd to ipad converter for mac discount software. It is too troublesome.

6. Turn Off Notifications - Is it crucial to get a notification every time it's your turn in Draw Something? Probably not. Disable Notifications for apps you don't absolutely have to have notifications posted for and you can recoup some battery life. Find this in Settings > Notifications, and disable them.

7. Disable Location Services - Most important for 3G/4G iPads, but you will save battery life even if you just have a Wi-Fi model. Turn these off in Settings > Location Services

8. Disable Diagnostic & Usage Reports - Sending out usage and diagnostic reports helps Apple to make a better iOS experience, but it also causes some minor activity in the background. Disable it for maximum battery conservation. Find this in Settings > General > About > Diagnostic & Usage > Don't Send

As an apple fun, or if you have any apple device, you may also have other device, if you want to watch your movies downloaded from itunes on your other device, you then have to remove drm from itunes.
