Soul Mates.

Every one seems to be under this impression that there are is only ONE man for ONE woman. Every one operates their life according to this myth, made up some where that in all of our life, there is only SUPPOSE to be one partner for you for the rest of your adult life.

Where did we rationalize this idea that first) its a person your suppose to marry and second) that you will only find them when your adulthood?

Where in the world does that makes sense? If there IS only one person... then those are the only conditions in which you will? I never bought into that bullshit but I never formed an individual opinion about it. I figured, hey, if people want to search their whole lives for just one person and MARRY them.... then GOOD LUCK TO YOU. But really... I think people only have it half right.

THERE IS one person for you. Made in this life just for you. And its not the same person for you as it is for them. Its not a just partner, someone to marry or even "love" forever. A soul mate is someone that gets you. All of you. Keeps your secrets and is really just unexplainably connected to you. We may only know them for a short time, or may for a life time. But that person was made for just you.

I was made for my mother.

And I am so glad that Evan was made for me.
