STYLE

Hello readers. I am Imani a 13 year old middle schooler. I have a huge passion for styling women and helping them with their appearance. Whether they need fashion help to get ready for a party, work, or just a comfortable outfit to look cute in. I know what colors look well together, and I definitely have a great eye for seeing what looks good or what doesn't looks, so great . I am readin g a book called Lauren Conrad Style it is giving me great ideas and thoughts on what items of clothing would best look well together. While I am reading this book it's giving me GREAT tips on how to shop for myself, and how to layer tee shirts and things of that sort. Right now I am moving on to chapter 5 Accessories, but I just finished Chapter 4 Mastering Your Closet. This chapter was about editing your closet, Organizing a clothes swap, and how to fold, hang, and store pieces so that they can last longer.  This chapter was to help people who are reading the book to eliminate clothes they don't wear and don't need any more. Chapter 3 The Hunt: How to shop was about how the simple steps she gives you can make your shopping experience easier. One of the things she said was when you go shopping you should just bring your money or credit card and your cellular device. Lauren says "traveling lightly will give you more strength to walk around and shop comfortably than to shop with a heavy purse on your back." She says "bringing cash is better than bringing your credit card because with cash you have a limit and with your credit card all you have to do is swipe it and there isn't any sort of limit. You could keep going and going and going and going." She also says "when trying on Jeans you should buy them tighter than usual if there stretch because they will end up stretching anyway, so if you don't want your jeans to look baggy then you should buy them tight so when they stretch they still fit." In the dressing room you should be stretching those pants out as much as you can so you can kind of feel how they will feel after being stretched. She also says "Buying and becoming close with small boutiques is a good thing because they can give you benefits for shopping with them; such as special sales and the new exclusive clothing they first get in."Chapter 2 The All American Uniform: Jeans and T-Shirts one of the most important chapters in my middle school life was about how different jeans look great with different shoes and T- shirts. She specifically gave examples of shoes that looked great pair with outstanding versions of jeans. Even though Chapter 2 was important to me; Chapter 1 seems most important to all people who read this book Chapter 1 Building Your Wardrobe. This chapter was definitely most important it pointed out key pieces that were needed to make any outfit a DREAM outfit. While I keep reading this book I will be taking time out of my day to update you on what's going on. I hope you enjoyed this journal entry. :) Have a nice day. BYEEE!
