The Sony reader uses an iTunes Store-like interface to purchase books from Sony eBook Library store (currently US and Canada only). It also can display Adobe PDFs, ePub format, RSS newsfeeds, JPEGs, and Sony's proprietary BBeB ("BroadBand eBook") format. The Reader can play MP3 and unencrypted AAC audio files.

Step 1: Download Calibre and install it to your computer.

Step 2: Plug in your Sony Reader. Launch Calibre and click the "Add books" button on the top left. Select your books. And click "open" to add the ebooks to the software.

 

Step 3: At the top right of Calibre is a drop down for "Output format". Select your needed output format.
