Australian primary school's grade 1 and 2 students will get iPad to enhance their reading and mathematics learning. Constable said, iPad application program can make students feel that math and reading becomes alive. The state's Settlers primary school's iPad trial showed that, the boys' reading and numeracy skills have been improved by using the iPad.
She believes that high-tech can attract the little boy's interest in learning, and the Tablet PC's touch feel and interaction let the students can learn and practice the multiplication tables, recognize graphics, count the money and other math skills; in reading, iPad has applications to let the students become more active in learning pronunciation, spelling and reading.
