Recently the resigned chief executive Steve Jobs is Apple's most powerful figure, but Apple products get acceptance mostly because of the simple, attractive design, and thanks to the 44-year-old chief designer Jonathan Ive.

Ive's six works (one of which is the iPod) is collected by New York Modern Art Museum, the success is self-evident.

Ive used the colorful iMac to break the rigid framework of thedesktop, this helped Jobs reverse Apple's Finance, and later the iPod, iPhone and iPad make Apple become the overlord in consumer electronics and the object envied by Silicon Valley.

After Steve Jobs resigned, Apple must prove to the outside world, without Steve Jobs, they are still able to introduce attractive products. Apple COO Cook took over the executive responsibilities, but Apple want to continue to success, the real pressure is on the shoulders of Ive.

The software's design and easily use is the key why Apple products are ahead of the competition. Apple is now led by Cook, whether he can encourage Ive to continue to create hot products remains to be seen.

There is no way to know how long Ive will continue serve Apple, but it is certain that Apple has created its own style.
