2:53 AM - Five New Features iOS 6 Will Have, According to the Rumors
WWDC is coming in a week, however, according to the rumors, we
won't see any iOS device in this conference, but what we won't miss
is the information about iOS 6, Mountain Lion, iCloud and so on.
iOS 6 will meet us until this fall, but there are many guesses
about it, one of them is that many new features will be added to
iOS 6.
The first one is MountainLionCenter, it is a Cydia tweak,
which can allow users to freely control the notification center, In
addition, it supports both portrait and landscape screen mode. Just
like how Mac users open the notification center, users can tune out
the interface via slipping the screen from right to left. In
addition, if using MountainLionCerter, some icons in status bar may
be hidden so developers add those icons to MountainLionCerter so
that users can view them conveniently.
The second is Siri. Right, you may feel excited about this
news, because generally, iPhone 4S is the only device that can use
Siri right now. We can not only
rip dvd to
ipad to watch HD movies on the Retina Display, according to
9to5Mac, Siri will come to iPad with iOS 6. However, only new iPad
can have it, so if you own a new iPad, you can talk to Siri at that
time. It will come complete with music playback, iMessaging,
calendar managing, reminders, weather, maps integration, emailing,
notes, contacts searching, Safari integration, Worlfram-Alpha
searching and more. The only thing missing from Siri for the iPad
will be the phone-related commands.
The third one is iCloud Tabs. iCloud Tabs allows iCloud users
to view the labels in Safari on multiple iOS and Mac devices. After
clicking the iCloud Tabs on the iOS 6 device or Mac, the opened
label on each device will be displayed in a synchronized list, so
users can quickly select the label. iCloud Tabs on the iPhone and
iPod touch was hidden in the Bookmark Toolbar.
Another one is Do Not Disturb. This feature lets users turn
off the notifications and messages from notification center.
Sources say that while the option is present directly in the
Mountain Lion Notification Center, the Do Not Disturb toggle is
stationed like the Airplane Mode button in settings.
Of course, the new features of iOS 6 are more than these.
Mark Gurman over at 9to5Mac relays what trusted sources told him,
that iOS 6 will also include Mail VIPs, which is a new feature
Apple announced in OS X Mountain Lion that works in a manner
similar to Gmail's Priority Inbox in that it automatically collects
your important email messages.
We can do many things on iPad right now, like how to
transfer
photos from pc to ipad, and if these rumors about iOS 6 new
features are true, it will be more convenient for us to make the
most of iPad and other iOS devices, so about the authenticity of
these information, we just wait for the WWDC in next week.
