New York October 16, Gartner gave a report on Tablet PC development. The report shows iPad was overwhelming in the tablet PC market . Until to 2014 Apple will continue to occupy 50% market share.

 

Gartner reports that this year the iPad Tablet PC sales share reached 73.4% in the global market, in addition to Android Tablet PC , other Tablet PC share was no more than 5%. The report also noted that Apple will occupy more than 50% market share in 2014.

 

Milanesi, Gartner vice president, said that although iPad sales expected market share dropped from 83 percent last year to 73.4% this year, but its competitors can not provide a similar experience to Apple, it will not affect Apple's sales.

 

Gartner also reduced expected sales value of Android, Milanesi said, "As Android tablet by high prices, poor user experience and application of too few restrictions, Android Tablet PC sales will be greatly reduced in the future."

 

In addition, reports are not good for Windows 8, Because windows 8 released too late, subsequent development will be limited, so most of the future users come from business users.
