Guo Mingchi said in the report: "we had expected, the new iPhone will be shipped in July, TD will be shipped in September, while iPad mini2 list in August. But from a public information and our understanding of technology trend, we now believe that release dates of these three products will lag far behind earlier expectations and the market generally expected. ”

Guo Mingchi does not provide clear expectations, but under June/August, September/October, October/November release of three possible periods, gave Apple shipments may be subject to impact.

Specific to the challenges faced by production, Guo Mingchi gives the following information:

Because the release time than expected may be delayed, Guo Mingchi now expects Apple's iPhone and iPad shipments can only be achieved in the third quarter year on year percentage growth in the low single digits, compared with 30% per cent of current market forecasts. Apple new iPad mini is coming, so cheap iPad mini cases also are coming.

Before Guo Mingchi, analyst at Morgan Stanley, Katy Huberty report also predicted that Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference in June (hereinafter "WWDC") presented iOS 7, then released in September the new iPhone. Huberty expects Apple show at WWDC mobile wallet "killer application", and the new iPhone and iPad will have to wait a few more months to launch.
