I'm reading this book called Of Mice and Men there too guys , but one guy is crazy its like he doesn't have a brain. For example he has a obsession with mices, but the creepy thing is that one of his pet mice wasn't alive. I would understand if your mice alive could you can pet it and feed it but he can't do either of those things. He's weird.
