I once wrote an article in March, standing business user's perspective, I compared iPad2 with Motorola Xoom. Although these two tablet computers have equal shares in many ways, from a business users’ point of view, Xoom is more appropriate than iPad2, this conclusion is connected to a number of factors, including the product's hardware, software, interface, memory and operating systems. Although the author does not deny that Xoom is thicker than iPad2, and perhaps it is also not as gorgeous iPad2.From the functions for professional applications, I believe that Xoom is wiser than ipad2. Xoom is used the metal casing, which is more wear-resistant, stable and solid. It is equipped with a standard USB interface, HDMI interface and the maximum 64GB of memory. It supports Flash, and also can play Windows Media files. It should be noted that most companies provide customers with video reports which are used by Windows Media format. But Xoom has the same shortcomings like the ipad, for they only can support mov file, mp4 or Flash, other commonly used video formats can not be supported. Besides, they can not transfer video, audio, photo files or folders from iPad to computer or between different iPad. So the users have to use an ipad to ipad transfer to help them. Although they have the same shortcomings, Xoom is still powerful than the ipad in the conversion function. For ipad can not download iPad songs back to computer, so they have to other converter like ipad music transfer to convert a suitable formats. However, Xoom can download songs back to computer directly. I have some high technology products, including iphone4, Android phone, the tablet computer and desktop computer. What satisfies me most is Android products that have powerful ability to customize the software to meet our specific needs.Of course, Different people see from different standpoints, some people prefer versatile products, some people like simple operation. I held a security-related products in Montreal last week, However, I was not using a laptop but Xoom. For Xoom is more convenient for playing videos.
