3:38 AM - iPhone 3GS Is Still Alive and It Wonâ??t Be Eliminated by Apple
Everyone is talking about iPhone 4/4S right now, but what about
the previous generation iPhone? Like iPhone 3GS. You think it's
dead because you hardly hear news about it? This is absolutely not
right.
Apple is maintaining a high level of production for the
two-year-old iPhone 3GS, DigiTimes, quoting as always sources
within Apple's supply chain, reports that Apple ordered 2 million
units of iPhone 3GS for this quarter and another 1.4 - 1.6 million
units for the first quarter of next year. No matter which one you
have, iPhone 4S or iPhone 3GS, if you have an
iphone to pc transfer,
you can move everything in your iPhone to PC, you can utilize your
iPhone as you want.
With no doubt, iPhone 4S is our favorite right now, it causes
the craze in the whole world, no matter what country we are in, the
biggest hope is iPhone 4S can be released in our own countries,
even though the price is unbelievable expensive than its indigenous
price. Considering its popularity, how could Apple give up this big
chance to make bunch of money. In a change to the United Arab
Emirates' Apple Store webpage on Saturday, Apple announced that the
region will be joining its neighbor Saudi Arabia in launching the
iPhone 4S on Dec. 16. Russia, Brazil, Chile, Malaysia, the
Philippines, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand and Turkey are also
expected to release the newest iPhone on that date. China is
looking toward a December launch, but no official announcement has
been made.
But the truth is the sales of the iPhone 3GS have been going
strong, considering the fact that it has been around for around two
and a half years now. This handset came out around the same time as
one of the first Android devices, but it still manages to generate
sales, despite the lifespan of smartphones being significantly
reduced. When Apple announced the iPhone 4S, they still did not
discontinue the iPhone 3GS and this is like due to the fact that
they are trying to manufacture handsets for all price segments.
According to Digitimes and multiple sources, Apple's success
with the iPhone 3GS is due in part to their penetration in the
entry level smartphone market. The iPhone 3GS is over 2 and a half
years old and is still experiencing strong producion rates. The 3GS
is expected to be sold under AT&T's 2 year contract until the
introduction of iPhone 5 or 6. Apple does not currently have any
plans to eliminate the device.
It is said that Apple has been pushing the sale of its 8GB
iPhone 3GS. It's very likely that Apple will continue production of
the iPhone 3GS as its device to counter smartphone manufacturers
who sell affordable devices in the market.
Between iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4S, there is a generation
called iPhone 4, here is a tip for iPhone 4 users:
