- The Vet
My humans made me go to the vet yesterday. It was an unplanned visit. I was losing some fur on my back legs and had a rash. The "doctor" said it was an allegric reaction. So what did the humans do? Removed my plant. Those bastards!
The vet even took this little metal thing and hurt me. He told the humans it was to see if I had mites. I think he just wanted to harm me. It hurt a lot! My humans told me to calm down.

My humans have been adding all this new furniture. They removed the old, smelly couch and replaced it with a nice, plush, soft one. It's the coolest cat bed that they ever bought.

Well, Caryn and Luke decided that they didn't like the fact I scratched the furniture up. So what was their solution? First, scratching posts and next patience. What did they finally do? Declawed me in the front.
I HAD TO SPEND TWO DAYS AT THE VET. The first day is kind of blurry. First, I took a nice nap, woke up and found bandages on my front paws. Slept more, ate and all the usual stuff.
Second day, the bandages came off and they gave me some medicine for the pain.

Don't let the little, gray furry cat know this but I actually like her. She is much more likely to play games with me at 2 am and she does a decent job grooming my fur.

One of my humans insists on making me take these pills every morning. She claims that I only have to take them for a few more days. Whatever. Apparently the reason I pissed all over the carpet is that I have a kidney infection. Well the pills are supposed to solve that problem. Why do my humans live in a place that gets snow!!! I don't like to look outside when it's snowing and gray.
I wish I had more time on my mac, but Caryn still claims it's hers.
Oh Luke claimed last night that Caryn and I are both finicky. Just because we like some things to be very specific, we're "finicky." So what Caryn won't eat meat, and I only like seafood. What's the big deal if Caryn only wanted an Apple computer or a particular receiver model! I think it's perfectly normal. What I can't understand is how Henry can eat practically anything.
I did discover that Luke's former friend had his own TV show the other night. I like the episode where Rob (they call him something else in the show) forgot how to pee. How can you forget something like that! Read More

laffer1 is back in "school." Damnit, no more mid afternoon naps. ladycorbeau is doing the "work" thing. At least she pays attention to us in the evening while Luke is doing his homework.
The humans are acting happy about some money they got. They didn't spend it on cat toys, but instead they paid off a "loan." I don't see why they did something stupid like that.

My humans have been *redecorating* the living room. How annoying, stuff is all over. It was supposed to take only a day or so (that was Sunday), and now it's starting to look like Henry and I won't be dodging the stereo equipment.
Caryn got a job finally, that means I'll still get food. Plus, I guess the four of us (Luke, Caryn, Henry and moi) will be moving to a bigger, better apartment. Apparently it's not a long drive, so Henry won't have a chance to get car sick. Don't get me started about the time he got car sick on the way to Grandpa and Grandma's house.
Other than that, life has been normal (well at least around these humans). They finally got a decent Internet connection (DSL). When Luke goes back to school, I can have the computer all to myself again. Read More
