- Do you know what my humans did?
My humans adopted a third cat - a kitten. I have a little sister now. At least she sort of looks like me. Read More
Tue, 27 Jul 2004 20:47:50 GMT - The Vet
My humans made me go to the vet yesterday. It was an unplanned visit. I was losing some fur on my back legs and had a rash. The "doctor" said it was an allegric reaction. So what did the humans do? Removed my plant. Those bastards!
The vet even took this little metal thing and hurt me. He told the humans it was to see if I had mites. I think he just wanted to harm me. It hurt a lot! My humans told me to calm down.
Yesterday just sucked. Read More

Fri, 30 Aug 2002 02:01:15 GMT - I'm big boned!
I am so happy right now. Daddy let me sit on his lap. He keeps playing 80's cartoons themes. I just wish he'd let me go to class with him.
Midnight has been in a pissy mood. He had an "accident" on the carpet this morning and got Mom angry. Read More

Sat, 06 Jul 2002 14:03:09 GMT - Strange, strange humans
My humans have been adding all this new furniture. They removed the old, smelly couch and replaced it with a nice, plush, soft one. It's the coolest cat bed that they ever bought.
Caryn is at her new job all the time. Something about "full time" and working 40 hours a week, I guess I don't see why she has to be gone all the time. Read More
Thu, 20 Jun 2002 22:29:15 GMT - My *adventure* at the vet's
Well, Caryn and Luke decided that they didn't like the fact I scratched the furniture up. So what was their solution? First, scratching posts and next patience. What did they finally do? Declawed me in the front.
I HAD TO SPEND TWO DAYS AT THE VET. The first day is kind of blurry. First, I took a nice nap, woke up and found bandages on my front paws. Slept more, ate and all the usual stuff.
Second day, the bandages came off and they gave me some medicine for the pain.
Today the humans finally came to rescue me.

It's cloudy today, and I really wanted sunshine. At least
ladycorbeau will be home Friday. I think she's planning to go the movies that evening. I really wish I could go with her, I like watching movies - plus I've heard movie theater popcorn is really good! Read More
Wed, 01 May 2002 13:45:55 GMT - My Strange Roommates
First, my humans are acting very strange. They kept talking about job searching, moving, etc... When the "m" word (moving) came up, they told me and Midnight that we are definitely coming along.
The weather has been very nice. The only downside is that Midnight was staying out of the sun because he was getting hot. His long black fur doesn't make the summer easy for him. Read More

- Writer's Block: Kids or child-free?
I'd say I knew for sure in my mid 20's that I am childfree.
I decided this for myself separately; my partner was not involved. Of course this naturally caused a problem but you can't have a kid if one person simply doesn't want children. Read More

Sat, 23 May 2009 01:04:58 GMT - Dear Republican Party... let me enlighten you
1. You did not lose the last election because you weren't "conservative" enough. Being more socially conservative won't get you out of this mess. No, be more fiscal conservative and get rid of the people who are trying to shove their morality down America's throat.
2. Also your sudden change of heart regarding fiscal conservatives is not fooling me. It's not. You spend money like everyone else.
Let's go back to the morality and family values stuff. We need to have a talk. The more and more you push morality and religious views as political ideas, you are doing two things. First, you are gradually excluding more people from your political party because they don't hold to strict moral standards. Second, you're cheapening religion. You're using some people's spiritual beliefs to gain secular power. Shame on you.
As someone who is not Christian, the idea of a modern day Christian theocracy is downright scary. Scary as in, I'd have to leave my homeland and hope a sane country would take me in. Read More
